Harry Potter Classes!
There are many classes at Hogwarts... here is a list of them:
There is grading and assessment at Hogwarts like in normal schools. Students need to pass each subject every year to advance. Regular exams normally seem to grade between 0 to 100% though students have been known to achieving higher (such as Hermoine getting 112% in Charms and 320% in Muggle studies). If students fail in their year then they must repeat it the next year. Students all must study for their O.W.L. (Ordinary Wizarding Level) Exams at the end of their 5th year. If they do well enough in an O.W.L. then they may take advanced classes for the next 2 years in preparation for their N.E.W.T.s (Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests) at the end of the 7th year. The grading in exams are as follows:

- Transfiguration-The art of changing the form and appearance of an object and the vanishing of objects
- Defence against the Dark Arts-The Dark Arts, also known as Dark magic, refers to any type of magic that is mainly used to cause harm
- Charms-A charm is a type of enchantment that causes an object to behave in a way that is not otherwise normal for that object
- Potions-Potions are magical mixtures commonly brewed in cauldrons and used to create various effects on the drinker
- Astronomy-Astronomy is one of the only fields of study at Hogwarts which has a direct equivalent in the Muggle world. Known student activities include learning the names of stars, constellations and planets, as well as their location and movements, and describing the environments of planets and moons.

- Herbology-Herbology is the study of magical and mundane plants and fungi
- Arithmancy-Arithmancy is a magical discipline that included predicting the future with numbers and numerology
- Ancient Runes-The Study of Ancient Runes, commonly shortened to Ancient Runes, is is a mostly theoretical subject that studies the ancient runic scripts of magic
- Divination-Divination is a magical discipline that involves attempting to foresee the future, or gather insights into future events, through various rituals and tools
- Care of magical creatures-is the study of magical creatures from flobberworms to thesterals
- Muggle studies-is the study of the daily lives of Muggles and how they cope with electricity and not magic
- Flying-is the lesson taught only in first year about learning to fly a broomstick
- Apparition-Apparition is an optional twelve-week course offered at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for, as its name suggests, learning how to Apparate and Disapparte
